DC Social Innovation Project is a small, but mighty organization that provides leadership to support early-stage social innovators. Working in partnership, we are finding and cultivating new ideas that fill critical gaps in the solution supply chain here in the District of Columbia to tackle poverty. For every $1 we raise, we provide $7 of matching pro-bono services and support our unique social capital grants valued at $25,000 per grantee. Since our founding we have provided $325,000 in social capital grants and have an 80% success rate.

“Eli and I had no experience in non-profits when we started four years ago. You have helped ensure the program’s success. In every way, we are fueled by your support.”

Co-Founder & DCSIP grantee, Press Pass Mentors

“I practice philanthropy every month by making, celebrating, and encouraging others to give a financial gift.  You don’t have to be rich to join DCSIP’s giving circle – for only 3 coffees a month you can be part of a movement to empower DC’s communities with creativity, courage, and ideas.”
